Overview
Raleigh Durham
International Airport is a public international airport located
nine miles (14 km) northeast of the town of Morrisville in
suburban Wake County, North Carolina , United States.The airport
covers 4,929 acres (1,995 ha) and operates three runways,
providing direct service to 40 domestic and international
destinations on 372 daily flights. In 2007, more than 10 million
passengers traveled through the airport. The RDU Airport Authority
is in charge of the airport facilities and its operations.
The Airport Authority is controlled by a board of representatives
from the counties of Wake and Durham, and the cities of Raleigh
and Durham. The airport is the main base of operations for
Ram Air Freight.

parking spaces are available in all RDU parking garages and
Park & Ride lots. All shuttles serving the Park &
Ride lots are lift-equipped. Wheelchair service is available
from your airline. TDD public pay telephones for the deaf
and hearing-impaired are conveniently located throughout the
terminals. All areas of the airport, including ticketing,
baggage claim and security checkpoints, can be accessed by
elevators. All public restrooms have disabled facilities.

Baggage
carts are located in all baggage claim areas, along terminal
kerbs and in parking zones. Cart rental is $2.00 and machines
accept coins, bills, credit cards and debit cards. When you
return the cart to any baggage cart location, you will receive
a 25-cent refund.

favourites. Located throughout the terminals, all shops offer

Business Centers located in Terminal A on the ticketing level
near the information desk and in Terminal C on the concourse

Airport Interfaith Chapel is located in the Terminal A baggage
