Airport Overview
Dallas Love Field (IATA: DAL, ICAO: KDAL,
FAA LID: DAL) is a city-owned public-use airport located 6
miles (10 km, 5 nautical miles) northwest of the central business
district of Dallas, Texas, United States.
Love Field was the primary airport for Dallas
until 1974, when Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport opened.
Love Field is now Dallas's secondary airport and serves as
a major focus city for Southwest Airlines, which has its corporate
headquarters on airport grounds. Continental Express, Delta
Connection, and United Express also offer service from Love
Field.

Love Field's passenger terminals have 20 gates,
divided into two terminals: 1 and 2. Southwest's Terminal
1 has 15 gates: 1, 1A–12, 14, 15, while Terminal 2 has
five gates: 26, 27, 30–32.
