Airport Overview
Bob Hope Airport BUR is located three miles
northwest of the central business district of Burbank, in
southern California, off Interstate Hwy. 5 (Exit 149); its
main entrance being situated after the intersection of Thornton
and Hollywood Way. In June 2010 the Airport celebrated its
80th Anniversary. In 2003, the airport was renamed in honor
of the late comedian and Hollywood institution, Bob Hope,
who kept his private jet at Burbank airport.
BUR Airport serves Los Angeles, Glendale, Pasadena and the
San Fernando Valley. The Airport helps you beat the infamous
Los Angeles traffic by being the closest airport to Hollywood,
Disneyland, downtown L.A, Warner Bros., NBC, Universal Studios,
the Rose Bowl, Dodger Stadium, Griffith Park, L.A. Zoo, Autry
Museum, Magic Mountain, to name some.
With two runways, and an estimated 4.6 million passengers

Terminals
The Main Terminal at Bob Hope Burbank Airport
is divided into Terminals A & B. Free WiFi internet access
is available throughout the terminals.
Terminal A of BUR houses a baggage claim area, airline ticket
counters 1 to 4 for Southwest, US Airways, JetBlue & Alaska/Horizon;
Express parking pay stations for Valet & Self-Parking;
Information kiosk; AMT machines; hotel/motel phone center;
food & drink establishments and shops; and past the security
checkpoint, gates A1 to A9.
Terminal B of BUR has all the entrances and
exits and houses the baggage claim area; airline ticket counters
5, 6 & 7 for Delta, American & United; customer and
disabled services; exhibits; shops and food & drink establishments;
six rental car counters; Express parking pay stations for
Valet & Self-Parking; and past the security checkpoint
gates B1 to B5. Outside of the Main terminal is the ground
transportation and the Valet Center.

follow signs.
Disabled facilities / Medical Facilities
The airport has ramps; adapted toilets; TDD
phones; and reserved parking spaces for disabled passengers.
Lifts are also provided to assist disabled passengers with
boarding the planes.
Business facilities
The close by Hilton Burbank Airport &
Convention Centre provides extensive business and conference
facilities. There are also two conference rooms available
on a prearranged basis and reservations can be made through
the airport's Operation Department.
Baggage
The airport has a lost property service at
the information desk.
