Albany International Airport is located at the junction of Interstate Highways 90 and 87.

As the major air center for the Capital Region, Northeastern New York and Western New England, the Albany International Airport offers a wide-range of facilities and services. A recently completed multi-million dollar capital redevelopment project included a new 230,000 square foot terminal, parking garage, Air Traffic Control Tower, and cargo facility. The airport has also embarked on a five-year $232 million Capital Plan to improve and maintain safety and to meet the needs of air travelers and air carriers well into the 21st Century.

The information centre is located on the 1st floor, between ticket sales and baggage claim and provides tourist and flight information.

Air Canada, American, American Eagle, Continental, Continental Connection, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, United/United Express, USAirways/USAirways Express/Metrojet.

The Albany International Airport Business Center is conveniently located on the second level of the Terminal on the C-Concourse.

The Business Center provides travelers and airport guests with a complete office environment including the latest in software to create or complete presentations, access e-mail and the Internet.

Three conference rooms are available. Computer video projectors, TV's, VCR's and other presentation equipment are available.

There is one terminal at Albany International Airport with 3 Concourses.

Restrooms / Toilets

Toilets are available throughout the airport follow signs.

Lifts, Wheelchairs and parking bays are available for the disabled.

The business centre is to be found on the 2nd floor and has all the nessecary equipment for meetings and conferences and there also 3 conference rooms.

Baggage

Baggage claim is next to the information kiosk on the 1st floor.

Eating & Drinking:

Departure is the shop representing the areas museums and is a one stop local crafts shop. There is also Capital gifts and booksellers and Paradies Newsstand on the 2nd floor.

Shopping:

The food court has got a selection of fast food as well as Arrezio's - Italian, Capital - Deli and Pub, Saranac Brew House - Restaurant/bar as well as the Checkpoint Cafe and pub on the first floor

Money: ATMs are to be found at locations throughout the airport.

Religion: An inter faith prayer room is located on concourse C and offers a quiet place to pray except perhaps if there is a large group of Jews and Muslims who arrive together.

More Services: Lost and found is by the operations centre on the 1st floor. The mail centre is near offering vending machines for your postal requirements.
