New Car Rental Facility Opens at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Birmingham rental car customers will find added convenience at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport (BHM) rental car facility.

Beginning on July 15th, customers will find a one-stop shop where they can complete all of their rental car transactions in one location. The new rental car facility is located on the first level of the parking deck in Sections B and C. Rental car customers will rent and return their rental car to the same location.

The slight change in operation is due to the ongoing construction of the terminal modernization project, a $201 million project that will ultimately add a new concourse, international capabilities and modernize the existing facility.

The Birmingham Airport Authority is responsible for the operation, administration, growth and development of the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.
