Queenstown Airport is a small airport consisting
of one main terminal building. Surrounded on both
sides by steep rugged mountains and on the shores
of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown Airport is one of the
most scenic and dramatic landing strips in the world

located in the setdown area outside the terminal building.

New Zealand Koru Lounge is located on first floor
and can be accessed via the stairs midway along the
departure concourse. A meeting room is available in
the airport administration offices

has luggage storage facilities. The baggage trolleys
are free of charge. Baggage can also be left at the

There is
an airport cafe situated in the arrivals area
Apart from
the duty-free shop that offers tobacco and alcohol,
perfumes, toiletries and much else, there are gift
shops, a book shop, a shop selling unique New Zealand
hand-knitted sweaters, a jewellery and souvenir shop,
a ski and outdoor store and a shop specialising in
outdoor clothing

terminal is also equipped with an AED (defibrillator).
